Margaretha is the daughter of a duke and has had many suitors. Her newest suitor, Lord Claybrook, seems like Margaretha’s best choice for a husband. When a young man who gives an impression of insanity comes to town, Margaretha is immediately drawn to him. His name is Colin, and he needs Margaretha’s help to save the kingdom.
I LOVE THIS BOOK. One of my dearest friends let me read her copy, and I was thrust into one of the best books I could have ever read. I had a few complaints about grammar (I am such a grammar Nazi sometimes. I don’t have perfect grammar by any means, but when I spot it somewhere I go nuts) and or word choice (I don’t remember my specific complaints). Nevertheless, it was an AMAZING story and one that I recommend. Colin is a very attractive character (a great fictional crush choice!), and Margaretha is also a great character. I’m not going to get into the plot details this time, but I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great romance by a Christian author. It is one book in a series, and the other books are on my “to read” list. I started one of her other books, but haven’t gotten around to immersing myself yet. It may be hard for me to accept another lead character at first (the main characters of each book are rarely if ever the same, even though some of the characters are in multiple books), but I will likely enjoy it as well.
Five out of five stars.
